Transportation Craft

A gentle building game for little kids. Build with colorful blocks, ride trains, planes and rockets, and say hi to friendly animals.

  • Free, in your browser
  • Tablets and computers
  • Nothing scary, ever
Flying over the island: a race track, cars, a colorful town and the airport, with a planet in the sky

How it works

  1. Tap Play

No download and no sign-up. The game opens right in your browser, on a tablet or a computer.

  2. Walk, build and ride

Walk around a sunny island, put blocks anywhere and hop into anything with wheels, wings or rails.

  3. Go further

Fly to the Moon and the planets, or play on one island with friends. The island saves itself.

So much to do

Islands with towns, airports and a railway, a mainland beyond them, and a whole solar system up above.

Build anything

Put colorful blocks anywhere, or a whole house, a skyscraper, a bridge or a long road in one tap. Doors open, beds are for naps.

Things that go

Hop in a fire truck, a police car, the bulldozer or a zippy corvette. Paint it your colors and put your name on it.

The steam train waiting at a station by the sea

Trains, planes and ferries

Ride the steam train over viaducts and through tunnels, fly between airports, call a helicopter, or sail the ferry.

Blast off to space

The rocket counts down and flies you to the Moon, the space station and every planet. Drive a moon rover over the craters.

Friendly animals

Frogs, bunnies, chipmunks, cows, giraffes, monkeys and camels to pet (they hop and get hearts), and a dog that follows you about.

Dress up and draw

Pick shirts, overalls and colors (or roll the dice for a surprise), draw on walls with crayons, and write on signs.

Playgrounds and treats

Swings, slides, seesaws and a bouncy duck, ice cream carts, splashing fountains, and telescopes to look far away.

A little learning

Before each ride there's an easy sum or a word with a letter missing, read out loud. Grown-ups can make it easier, or turn it off.

Made for little ones

Calm, kind and simple, so grown-ups can relax while little ones play.

  • Nothing scary

No monsters, no night and no falling danger. Nothing chases you, and you can't get hurt.

  • Soft sounds

Gentle sounds and a friendly voice, with a volume slider and a mute button.

  • Every word read aloud

Tap the little speaker by any word to hear it, so even pre-readers can play on their own.

  • Made for small fingers

Big buttons, and a tap does the obvious thing: put a block, open a door, pet a cow.

  • No ads, no chat

No ads, no purchases and no chat. Playing with friends, everyone sees each other's names and what they build, including the words they write on signs and billboards.

  • Grown-up settings

Changing the quiz is behind a grown-ups' password, and making a new island asks twice, so nothing's lost by a stray tap.

More for grown-ups

Better with friends

Everyone builds on the same island at the same time: dig a pond together, take turns driving the fire truck, or all ride the rocket to Mars. Up to eight friends play at once, each in their own clothes with their name over their head.

Your own island stays just as it was, waiting for you to come home to it. To play on a game of your own, a grown-up can run one at home on any computer.

Questions

Is it free?

Yes. There's nothing to buy, and no ads.

Do we need an account?

No: just press Play, and the island saves itself in the browser. A free grown-up account keeps your islands online too, so you can have lots of them and carry on from any device.

What does it run on?

A recent browser on an iPad or Android tablet, a laptop or a desktop computer. With a keyboard and mouse it plays like other block games; on a tablet, there are big buttons to tap.

How old do you have to be?

It was made for (and named by) a three-year-old, and older kids love the rocket and the trains. Little ones may need a hand getting started.

How do we play with friends?

Press Play with friends on the start screen, type your name, and join. Everyone builds on the same island at once. You can also run your own game at home: see For grown-ups.

Where is our island kept?

In the browser you play in, always. With an account, it's kept online too. You can also save a copy as a file from Options.
